Privacy

What this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which links are used (for example, page views, searches, filter use and clicks on product links). Google processes this data under its own privacy terms. You can block it with browser settings or extensions.

First-party usage measurement

To learn which recommendations are useful, the site records anonymous events on its own servers: when a product button is shown and clicked, how far an article is scrolled, and how long it is actively read. Each event carries a random identifier that lasts only for your browser tab, the page address and a device class (mobile, tablet or desktop). We don’t record IP addresses, set cookies for this, or combine it with other data.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date and the page you signed up from, and use it only to send the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

On your device

Packing checklists remember what you ticked using your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Outbound links

Product links take you to brand or retailer sites and may carry parameters (such as utm_source=carryonculture) that tell the retailer the visit came from us. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. A contact address for privacy requests will be published here before launch; until then, use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email to remove your address.
