Questions, answered
Do I really need a layer on a warm trip?
Often, yes. Evenings can feel much cooler than the afternoon, and air-conditioned restaurants and planes are cold. One light layer covers both.
Sandals or sneakers?
Both, but only one of each. Wear the sneakers to travel and for long walks; keep sandals for the beach, the pool and short distances.
How much sunscreen should I bring?
Enough for a weekend fits in a travel-size bottle. If you need more, pharmacies and supermarkets in most destinations sell it.
